Jason YATES (Opening Speaker)

As Head of Cash Equities APAC, based in Hong Kong, Jason drives the Global Markets APAC Cash Equities strategy.  He manages the relevant teams across Execution and Advisory throughout the region as well as strategic business initiatives and the development of BNP Paribas’ Advisory franchise.

An Equity market veteran, Jason spent over 25 years at Morgan Stanley prior to joining BNP Paribas, in various Equities roles, including Head of Execution Services APAC, Head of Equity in Southeast Asia and Co-Head of Facilitation APAC, and was previously based in Singapore.  Throughout his career he has held several industry advocacy board and committee positions including ASIFMA and the Singapore Stock Exchange.

Jason is married with two children and holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Southampton.
