Alex BIDLAKE

Alex Bidlake is a partner in Clifford Chance's Asia Pacific Corporate Practice, with 20 years of experience advising financial and strategic investors on a wide range of public and private M&A transactions across the region.  Alex has an outstanding reputation for public M&A work and is a member of the Hong Kong SFC's Takeovers and Mergers Panel and Takeovers Appeals Committee.  She also has notable experience in the energy and infrastructure sector, including energy transition, having advised on a significant number of complex and high-profile transactions in the region. 

Alex was awarded "M&A Lawyer of the Year" at the Women in Business Law Awards 2021 and is recognised as a leading individual for Corporate/M&A by Chambers & Partners.  She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and Nottingham Law School.
